You don’t need a single different or additional ingredient, you just need to chill the dough for about 30 minutes and it becomes perfect for rolling out and using for cookie cut outs!
Although I like the way they look, I’m not usually a huge fan of shadow boxes cause they just seem kinda finicky to put together in a nice way.Like you need all kinds of different little doodads to fill them up, you know?.
I made this one with all of two things in it, Jack’s birth announcement and the little hat he got in the hospital, and I love it!.Covering the backing first with a bold fabric helps to fill in the blank spots and really make for an eye-catching display.So if you’re not very crafty, or just not feeling very crafty at the moment, this is a neat way to do it..
I didn’t even bother hanging it up.I just popped it on the shelf and called it done..
