Good luck to you and your bathroom sinks!October always seems to be the star of the Fall months, doesn’t it?
Remembering to get Kennedy to brush her teeth?Sometimes I get to the end of the weekend and I’m not sure if she’s brushed them once that whole time.
Without our usual school routine to remind me, I’m pretty hopeless. She may remember to do it herself, but honestly, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t.. -The stairs definitely haven’t been vacuumed in over 6 months.. -I’ve resorted to cleaning only one of the bathrooms for the time being. The other one is turning into some kind of science experiment.
It’s interesting, I admit.. -I say “Yes” to Kennedy’s requests for candy.Every time.. -About 100 cups of tea is what gets me through the day.. -The last time I mopped the kitchen floor was, um, a year ago?
I wipe things up from time to time, but I’m very non-commital about the whole thing.. -The Christmas wreath on the front door came down around St. Patty’s Day.
The lights came down just this weekend and that’s only because Chris took them down.I have secret dreams of one day having our whole extended family out here for a big hockey tournament on our rink.. Of course, I’ll be the one inside make the hot chocolate for everyone for afterwards, but wouldn’t that just be perfect?.
Speaking of perfect… every once in awhile the creek freezes completely smoothly. It doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, it makes for the world’s longest skating track..
Being able to make childhood memories like this for Kennedy is one of the reasons I’m so glad we took the plunge and moved way out here..So it might be frigidly cold outside right now, but I guess Winter can be pretty neat too..
